Luna Daily, founded by beauty industry veteran Katy Cottam, is a microbiome-balancing body care brand for all skin — even your most intimate. After building momentum in the UK for three years, the brand wanted to expand into the US, but would need to reach an entirely new market of consumers unfamiliar with Luna Daily. With an exclusive US retail partnership with Sephora, Luna Daily had only one chance to make a splashy US launch — and showcase strong initial sales to their retail partner.

OGAKI developed a comprehensive pre-launch, launch, and post-launch PR and influencer strategy, strategically building the brand’s awareness and credibility both within the industry as well as with target consumers. We hosted an exclusive dinner at Soho House in New York, generating social buzz and attention from key trade publications, consumer publications, and influencers, secured one-on-one press meetings with Katy to develop deeper brand relationships, and created an influencer gifting program targeting women’s health advocates, medical experts, lifestyle influencers, mothers, and Sephora Squad members alike.
Luna Daily had an incredibly successful launch in the US. The results from the first launch helped secure multiple product expansions, including the launch of Luna Daily’s Motherhood range as Sephora’s first motherhood-focused skincare line. OGAKI garnered over 40 media placements around the launch, including dedicated, in-depth feature stories in publications like WWD, BeautyMatter, and Beauty Independent, founder interviews in publications like Business of Fashion and Glossy, and brand coverage in CNN, Good Morning America, Marie Claire, Women’s Health, and more. Influencer coverage also generated significant social media buzz with over 40 placements garnering over $386K in estimated media value (EMV).
